The hospital serves an estimated population of about 110,134 people from over 157 Communities within the district. Also, it serves as the main referral facility for CHPS centers, clinics and Health centers in the Fanteakwa District and the adjoining districts.

The mission of Fanteakwa District Hospital is to improve the health status of people living in the Fanteakwa district through the provision of quality and affordable health care services delivered by friendly, motivated and skilled personnel in a humane environment.

Our vision for the hospital is for it to become a centre of excellence in the provision of quality, affordable and accessible health care services to all people living in the Fanteakwa District and beyond.
